WHAT TIME IS PUT-IN?

Our full day and upper trips begin at 9am and our lower river trip begins at 3pm.

HOW MANY PADDLERS CAN BE IN EACH BOAT?

Normally, we run up to 7 paddlers per boat. We will try to seat groups together whenever possible.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You’ll definitely get wet! Be sure to wear shoes that can get wet and stay on your feet. Sandals with full straps or appropriately secured water shoes are a good option. If you have your own wet suit, feel free to bring it! Helmets, life jackets, and paddles are all provided. Wet suits provided at no additional cost when needed.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Parking is free on-site at the KWA outpost.

WHAT’S THE ELEVATION?

Our outpost elevation is around 800 ft above sea level.

HOW MANY MILES IS EACH TRIP?

The full length trip is 10 miles (upper+lower). The upper river trip is 6 miles while the lower river trip is 4 miles.

HOW LONG SHOULD I PLAN TO BE ON THE RIVER?

All trip lengths can vary based on water level and the number of people in each trip. On average, the High Adventure Full River Trip is 6 hours, the High Adventure Upper River Trip is 3-4 hours, and the Family Adventure Lower Trip is 2-3 hours. Please see our trip descriptions for more details.

WHAT IS LUNCH AND IS IT INCLUDED?

For our High Adventure Full River Trip you’ll make your lunch selection the morning of the trip. Lunch is included in the price of the trip and there is a vegetarian and vegan option.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

We know you love your animals—and we do, too! But for the safety of guests, and the dogs, we do not allow pets on the trip .

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are less than 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Our address is: 41933 Sierra Dr., Three Rivers, CA.

WHAT IS THE RAFTING SEASON?

The Kaweah River is a naturally fed river with water levels fluctuating based on rainfall and snowpack. Our typical season runs April to June.
